Seniors Golf League - CALEDONIAN LEAGUE
An invitation to join this league for the forthcoming
season has been accepted, and members interested in
playing in this league, are asked to place their names
on the form posted on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.
In this inaugural season the protocol will be the same,
play and pay basis, as exists in the Senior Friendly
Match Series. (Should membership be continued in
future years, this basis would be subject to review at
the committee's discretion.)
This entails a match fee of £8.00 per head per match.
The league comprises 3 divisions with 2 team rotation between divisions at the end of each season, so obviously some competitiveness is to be expected.
Quote from the League Constitution :- Objects
a) to promote fellowship amongst and between the senior
members of the constituent clubs, and
b) to encourage friendly competition in matches between clubs in
an annual golfing league.
Early contacts with some members have shown a warm and friendly atmosphere to exist
Entry to this league is available to players aged 50 and above and holding a current handicap. Click here for the schedule of matches for the 2008 season.
