Welcome to

Leven Golfing Society

The famous Leven Links is home to Leven Golfing Society and our sister club Leven Thistle.

Leven Golfing Society's roots can be traced back to 1820 and the formation of Innerleven Golf Club. Leven Golf Club was established in 1846, but it was to be another 111 years before the two amalgamated to form Leven Golfing Society. Two prestigious Scottish amateur golf titles are contested each season at Leven and hosted by Leven Golfing Society. The Scottish Champion of Champions event kicks off the year in April, followed in August by the worlds oldest amateur stroke play contest, the Standard Life Amateur Champion Gold Medal, which was established in 1870. Leven also figures prominently at the end of the golfing season by staging the Fife Club Champion of Champions.

A true test of golf in every respect, you'll enjoy the challenge of playing a classic links course which is one of the qualifying courses used when The Open is held at St Andrews.

The high standard of the course is matched by the hospitality and refreshments that can be obtained in the clubhouse after your round. Whether you are after just a quick drink, soup 'n' sandwiches or a full meal, the fare provided by our chef Jules is hard to beat!
