The Course & Greenfees

For more Information about the Leven Links course and to book a tee time, go to www.leven-links.com

Speed of Play
In the interest of all, players should play without delay. If players believe their ball may be lost, to save time, they should play a provisional ball under the rules of golf.
Players searching for a ball should signal the group(s) behind them to play through as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not easily be found; they should not search for five minutes before doing so.

Losing Ground
If a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole, the players in front should invite the match following to play through.
Remember the old adage - keep up with the game ahead and not ahead of the game behind!

Course Priority
Playing groups on the course have the following priority:
First priority - 3-ball
Second priority - 2-ball
Third priority - 4-ball
Fourth priority - 1-ball

Pitch Marks
Players should repair all pitch marks on the putting greens, replace divots with care through the green and rake all bunkers after use leaving the rake in the middle of the bunker.

Dress Code on the Course
Members and visitors are expected to be smartly dressed at all times appropriate to the occasion.
Banned at all times is the wearing of football/rugby type shirts and shorts, vest type shirts, collar-less tee shirts, track-suits and shell-suits.
Shorts, if worn, must be tailored and worn with full length hose or sports socks.
Golf shoes (spiked or stud-less) must be worn. Trainers and other types of sports shoes or boots are not permitted.
